The PhotoBooth

This is the post excerpt.

Hello everyone and welcome to my website. I thought it about time to get a professional site and to display my more recent photos.

Those of you coming from FaceBook, Twitter, Google, or elsewhere, welcome to the page!

I am a photographer based in Plymouth in the South West of the United Kingdom, but I attend other events around the country from time to time. I mainly go as far as Cardiff Fools and Heroes, but sometimes going up to the Midlands for larger fests, such as Empire, more Fools and Heroes Springfest and Summerfest.

In the following pages you will find a lot of the recent photos for my site, I will be refreshing the page often, so only the most recent / best photos are put up or you to see.

If you would like to hire me for an event, such as a LARP, Wedding, Steampunk or something else, I have a few rates depending on the situation and how long the photography is going to be. Please E-mail me or contact me through one of the social media links.

Fools and Heroes Bath Branch

What a wonderful day for a stole in the woods, much better when doing LARP.

Here is the Bath branch Fools and heroes bunch with myself and a few others from Plymouth going to see new friends and have lots of wonderful photo opportunities.

Fools and Heroes is a great LARP that allows people to enter the system with very little equipment, and yet still have a fantastic time. The people are wonderful and the area was amazing and beautiful!

Neothera Saga LARP

Neothera Saga, this is a game that is my first multiple damage system I went to. I didn’t play in the system, but it looked like a lot of fun! And judging by these photographs, you will certainly enjoy it too! It is a mixture of LARP and Steampunk, featuring nerf guns as real weapons, as well as magic calls that you can use to great effect.

Neothera Saga, is a high fantasy world with multiple different races to choose form, you can even come back as an undead version of your character, so basically you get a free resurrection for your character, which is pretty cool. However I think you need a potion for it, or some spell to actually do that, but you get to play the character again, so it’s fine!

Fools and Heroes

This one was for Fools and Heroes in Plymouth and this was the morning mission, I was playing the afternoon so I couldn’t get pictures of the afternoon. Sadly my character died in that encounter, but I have a new character now, so all is well.

Fools and Heroes is a national system wide LARP (Live Action Role Play) where one goes into a persona of another person and acts them out for the morning / afternoon / weekend, depending on where you are in the system. For this event it was just the day so we had to be in character for our allowed time, and we monster, or NPC (Non Player Character) the time we are not meant to be playing, for example if we are playing in the morning, we will monster the afternoon. Simple.

Here are some of my best work yet, doing something slightly different with my editing at the moment, and it’s come out rather nicely! Anyway here are the photos for you to view!

Blood Red Roses

These images are from the game Blood Red Roses, BRR for short. they are a low fantasy world where they have walking dead, and all other manner of enemies coming at you to tear you to pieces.

These guys were wonderful in accepting me into their fold, and seeing the sheer amount of effort that goes into it, is amazing. The set dressing, down to the props were awesome to witness. They really do put a lot of effort into this.

This was a 1920’s version of their world, so we had to dress in period costume, which was a lot of fun getting the right outfit for it! This wasn’t run by the usual refs, however the effort wasn’t wasted, or misplaced, the amount of power and feeling that went into the event was astounding. I will be returning to their field in October time, to see the continuation of the usual plot and horror.
